The blower is not on a base, but on the back of one leg, so it doesn't help the product stand. For the size of this inflatable, the blower is very small so it takes a long time to inflate and, with it's position on the leg, if there is a gust of wind, the fabric for the leg attaches to the blower and then the unit deflates itself by not being able to take in enough air. The design could have been much better.

We love this Inflatable. We had been waiting a long time for the Stay Puft Man to add to our collection of Inflatables. You won't go wrong buying this one. Only down side is the four LED lights they put in him add very little "glow" to the Inflatable. When you use LED you need to use more of them to get a good effect and light this Inflatable up. Be sure to tie him down well, the wind catches this one and blows it around.
