The Mercedes is our most popular aboveground winter pool cover. This winter cover will last a good 5-7 years with the proper maintenance. We actually have a winter cover "scrub free" cleaner made by Natural Chemistry that is an all natural cleaner to make things easy in the spring. This cover comes with a cable and winch to tighten the cover to the pool. Many of our customers like using Gator Clips to help keep their cover from whipping around in this Chicago wind. You should use 3 Gator Clips per top rail to properly secure the cover to the top rail of the swimming pool.
