Weekly Spa Maintenance

Using the following products will help ensure a cleaner, smoother running and more enjoyable spa. Each week, oxidize contaminants by adding one ounce of Proteam Chlorine Free Spa Shock (pH neutral) for every 300 gallons of water. Your spa will be ready for use in 15 minutes, as long as your sanitizer has been maintained at the proper level.

    Proteam Chlorine Free Spa Shock can be used to shock a hot tub that has been sanitized by bromine, chlorine, or copper or silver, mineral purifiers. Proteam Spa Metal Magic will quickly remove iron, copper, silver, manganese and high calcium hardness from your water. Use one ounce for every 100 gallons of water. You may use your spa immediately after treatment. Clean your filter 2 days after treatment to remove the metals that are now trapped in your filter. Remove your mineral purifier during this treatment.
     Proteam Sky Blue Clarifier will maintain water clarity, increase filter efficiency, and restore sparkling blue water. Add one ounce per 100 gallons of waters. Spa use may continue during treatment.
     Use Proteam Gentle Spa at least once a week or with each use of your spa. Add two ounces for every 150 gallons of water to continue enhancement of water quality and reduce eye and skin irritations. The clean, fresh fragrance will further enhance your hot tub experience.
     Proteam Foam Fighter will break up unsightly foam in your spa. Simply invert the bottle and spray a small amount directly onto the foam. Hot tubs should be drained after three treatments to prevent product build up.
