OK, it's that time of year again ... So, I bought one of these last year at American Sale. They had a kiosk with a video showing how great this works and I had 5 strings of lights that had various problems. I watched the video, read the manual, and tried to fix the 5 strands following the instructions step by step. Nothing I did worked and I threw the product away. I think this may be the first time I have been so frustrated with the time and energy I spent for no results. Now, reading the reviews, obviously this product does work for many other people, but I can assure you than on my 5 strings, following instructions to a T ... neither my wife or I could get any of the strings to wor. So, I came on here, just to pass along my experience. If you buy one, make sure you get it from a retailer that allows returns.
Amazing Product! I spent over 7 hours trying to troubleshoot with the pre lit tree manufacturer to repair my lights. Someone who was trying to help me mentioned that this type of product existed. I was at American Sale and I questioned if they had anything like this. Unbelievable! I watched the video on line and the instructions are specific and direct for different types of lighting sets. This should have been invented YEARS ago!!! I'm back to decorating. My tree is LIT!!!!
