Does not keep lights on

This timer stinks! It is one of the easiest to program but that's the only good thing about it. The photosensor on the front is way too sensitive and can't be placed near any light at all or it will turn off and on. I had it about 3 feet from some net lights and it turned them off and then back on a few minutes later. I tried to write to the company but couldn't find their website. It is not made by Stanley/Black and Decker as I thought.
