Don’t buy this

It’s for sale and they say there is warranty all season. I plug in the system and filter is backwashing and backwash if filtering. The settings are wrong. They guaranteed a warranty the receipt says there is warranty. I ask the store makes up a story that yesterday they found out it has a manufacture issue. They say all will be the same problem.They can’t refund or exchange it. Too much of a made up story?
